Described in the Houses of Wexford book as an early 19th century three bay two storey house with a hipped roof slightly sprocketed and central chimney stack. The first occupant Rector William Hickey was co-founder of Bannow Agricultural College & South Wexford Agricultural Society he also oversaw the construction of St. Paul’s Church at nearby Balloughton.
