Geevagh is a small village where it lies between Carrane Hill and a series of drumlins. This stunning countryside and rolling hills entails multiple Lakes, Lough Bo, Lough Nasool and Lough Arrow.
Lough Nasool is steeped in Mythological history with the story being told that a giant Balor took a stab to his eye in the battle of Moytura (close by) and flowed out to from Lough Nasool which is known as the lake of the eye. This Lake is very unusal as it has on several occasions drained away, and in the summer of 2006 it almost completely drained, diverted into underground channels.

This rustic cottage is just over the ridge from Lough Nasool. The megalithic structures of Keshcarrigan are visible from across the valley with Lough Arrow in the distance.
