This holding comprises c.59.25 acres of land which is primarily laid out in grass. It has excellent road frontage and is easily accessed from Ballymakeera Village. The property does include a 2-storey farmhouse which has been disused for a number of years as well as a range of farm sheds and out buildings. The land is a mixture of good grazing land and some rough ground, which would suit a range of farming enterprises.

The land is currently in a mix of grass and rough grazing. In general, the land slopes down from its southern boundary to its northern boundary along the Douglas River. It is bounded to the east and west by similar type holdings. The farmhouse would have been substantial property originally but has been unoccupied for some time and needs to be completely refurbished, this could benefit from current government grants which are on offer to renovate unoccupied properties.

Electricity at Roadside, Water via gravity fed stream.

Features:
There are a number outbuildings adjacent to the farmhouse which have been used for cattle, hay etc. The house and yard buildings are located central to the holdings.
